Meredith Shaw Joins Citytv’s Breakfast Television as Co-Host

As announced on Breakfast Television moments ago, Canadian television and radio host Meredith Shaw joins BT, Ontario’s #1 morning show, as co-host alongside Sid Seixeiro and the rest of the BT family – Devo Brown, Tammie Sutherland, Stephanie Henry, and Frank Ferragine, beginning Monday, Sept. 11.

“Well, this is going to be FUN! I have so much respect for this Award-Winning team and great admiration for the BT audience. It is my pleasure to step into this new role, a real dream come true! From the moment I met Sid, I knew we could talk about anything, laugh about anything and most of all be honest with each other and the audience. I’m so thankful for his support throughout this process and can’t wait to see those iconic Seixeiro dance moves, in person. Cheers to a big new adventure, I’m so grateful and so ready!” said Meredith Shaw, Co-Host, Breakfast Television.

Meredith is a familiar face to Canadian television and radio audiences with more than 12 years of experience in the industry including regular appearances on The Marilyn Denis Show, The Social, Your Morning, and etalk, as a style expert and advocate for inclusion and empowerment. Most recently, Meredith could be heard over the airwaves as host of CHUM 104.5 and iHeartRadio’s syndicated national show, The Back in the Day Brunch. Plus, alongside her fiancé Chef Rodney Bowers, Meredith became the host of Double Your Dish, where the duo would transform one base recipe into two different dishes.

As the recipient of the Canadian Screen Award for “Best Morning Show” in 2020, 2021, and 2022, Breakfast Television is a constant source of warmth and entertainment, delivering the latest news, weather, and traffic to help viewers prepare for their day. BT airs live each weekday from 6-10 a.m. ET on Citytv, Citytv+, and Citytv.com in Ontario, featuring a national portion of the hit morning show available in all Citytv markets starting at 8:30 a.m. Meredith will also be heard on 98.1 CHFI in Toronto and nationally across Rogers Sports & Media’s Adult Contemporary radio stations where she will host a new weekend show, beginning this fall.
