October 10, 2023 – The puck finally drops tonight with a triple header on Sportsnet as the 2023-24 NHL regular season officially gets underway. As the exclusive national NHL rights holder and Canada’s #1 sports network, Sportsnet is “here for hockey” all season long, connecting Canadians with the biggest moments in hockey across TV, audio, streaming, and digital platforms.

Where to Watch

In addition to watching on Sportsnet on TV, NHL fans across Canada can live stream more than 1,000 national and out-of-market games available on Sportsnet+ PREMIUM (formerly SN NOW).

 

New this season, Amazon Prime Video users in Canada can watch live NHL hockey and all of Sportsnet’s linear programming on Sportsnet national (Sportsnet, Sportsnet ONE, Sportsnet 360) and regional (Sportsnet Pacific, West, East, Ontario) channels with one convenient subscription to Sportsnet on Prime Video. Rogers Monday Night Hockey presented by Desjardins and Pepsi

Every Monday night, Sportsnet features the latest broadcast technology and innovations, including augmented and virtual reality features, from its state-of-the-art NHL studios powered by Rogers. Rogers Monday Night Hockey presented by Desjardins and Pepsi premieres October 16:

  • 7 p.m. ET / 4 p.m. PT – Chicago Blackhawks vs Toronto Maple Leafs (Sportsnet and Sportsnet+)

NHL Events

Sportsnet is set to deliver exclusive national coverage of NHL Events throughout the season, while connecting fans to unique sports experiences through Rogers partnerships with the Edmonton Oilers, Vancouver Canucks, and Toronto Maple Leafs:

  • The 2023 Tim Horton’s NHL Heritage Classic on Oct. 29 features the Battle of Alberta, live from Commonwealth Stadium in Edmonton as the Oilers take on the Calgary Flames.
  • Scotiabank Hockey Day in Canada returns for its 24th season on Jan. 20, complete with a hockey broadcast marathon featuring all seven Canadian teams in action, and a family-friendly celebration hosted in the heart of Victoria, BC.
  • Rogers brings NHL All-Star Weekend to Toronto for the first time in 20 years, with the 2024 NHL All-Star Skills presented by DraftKings on Feb. 2, and the 2024 Rogers NHL All-Star Game on Feb. 3.
